What changed for 2027 (and what didn't)
The Sentra was redesigned from the ground up for 2026, so 2027 is a second-year refinement, not a rework. Three things are actually new. First, Nissan retuned the Xtronic CVT for a smoother, more linear acceleration profile with crisper response to throttle inputs, a direct answer to customer feedback on drivability. Second, the SR gains a $650 Midnight Edition package: black 18-inch alloy wheels, black badging, and blacked-out window trim, with Super Black paint standard and four two-tone combinations with a contrasting black roof for $950 more. Third, the available wireless phone charger moves to the Qi2 standard, which charges faster and runs cooler than the old inductive pad. Everything else carries over: the 149 horsepower 2.0-liter four, front-wheel drive, the 12.3-inch touchscreen, and standard Safety Shield 360. Base pricing rises $290 to $22,890 plus $1,245 destination, while the top SL holds at $27,990.
